Amiyo: Employee Highlight

Integrated Psych recognizes how important it is to have staff and providers who care about patient needs. Who pay attention. Who take the extra time to show warmth and understanding. To recognize our staff, we introduce Monthly Employee Highlight!

This February, we will highlight one of our newest employees, Amiyo.

Amiyo joined our Medical Assistant team in September. She works in St. George and quickly became a powerhouse in the lab. She is organized and follows through and the providers she assists are thrilled to have her as part of the team.

“I enjoy her spunky personality and energy that she brings to the office. She is very dependable and an advocate for patients. Patients rely on her reliability to perform her work and get their needs met,” provider Alberto Souza said.

Provider Tyler Patten also welcomes her. “Amiyo is an outstanding medical assistant. Her warm and bubbly personality creates a welcoming environment for our patients. She is proactive and goes above and beyond to ensure patients receive everything they need. I’m grateful Amiyo is a part of our Intergrated Psych team!”

Amiyo’s supervisor in the lab, Kacee also said, “She does a great job advocating and following through and I know the patients really appreciate this.”

Her personality is a common theme for why providers, staff and patients all appreciate Amiyo. She uplifts the mood around her. With years of experience as a certified medical assistant, Amiyo came to us with training and appreciation for the busyness of the job. In her spare time, she spends her time baking treats for dogs. Her business doggy.bakes is thriving and you can often find her at weekend farmers markets, out in the community spreading love and comfort to pets.
