Medical Director
Alberto has been working as a Nurse Practitioner since April of 2013 and has a Master’s Degree in Family Practice and a Post Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health. He has worked in health care for over 14 years and now specializes in helping people with Mental Health Disorders and Substance Addiction. His genuine love for people and desire to continue to learn and improve has allowed him to experience a great deal of success as a provider, to establish a good rapport with patients and to develop lasting relationships with medical professionals in the Southern Utah area. Alberto is also fluent in 3 languages (English, Portuguese and Spanish) which allows him to better serve a more diverse population. Originally from Sao Paulo Brazil, Alberto moved to the U.S. as a teenager where he has had the opportunity to pursue his American Dream. Alberto lives in Southern Utah with his wife and 4 children and is a devoted family man. In his free time, Alberto enjoys time with his family, traveling, camping, biking, swimming and is an avid soccer fan. Alberto shares his love for soccer through coaching local youth teams in the community.
Psychiatrist
Takavar Ghane has been working as a mental health counselor since 2007. Prior to joining our team, he was working as a Clinical Director at a residential youth facility. Takavar is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), a certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (TF-CBT) and is Nationally Board Certified in Neurofeedback Therapy (BCN) through BCIA.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
David has been a holistic healthcare practitioner for the last 40+ years. His clients struggled with symptoms of pain, substance abuse, PTSD, ADHD, anxiety/depression, and grief. The goals have always been to move through the stress, discomfort and even sorrow to enter the joyous states of ecstatic wellness. Now with NFB their newfound states of freedom, joy and wonder can be sustained and enhanced. For the last 16 years David has been grateful to be recognized as a licensed clinical social worker. He remains fully engaged with his faith, family, children and grandchildren. Skiing at Brianhead or hiking the canyons puts a smile on his face also!
Kayla is a Certified Social Worker dedicated to helping clients feel genuinely heard, supported, and empowered. Her approach is warm, grounded, and compassionate, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can happen. Kayla work with individuals navigating a wide range of challenges; from anxiety and stress to relationship struggles and life transitions. Her focus is on helping clients build resilience, break unhelpful patterns, and move toward meaningful personal growth. Rooted in a strengths-based and collaborative approach, Kayla’s work is guided by empathy and a deep belief in each person’s capacity for change. She draws on evidence-informed practices and strives to create a steady, thoughtful space that’s tailored to your unique needs.
